We were so happy to flip the calendar page from February to March this year! Spring is on its way! We are thrilled at the prospect of warmer weather! It has been a long winter! We have such exciting things planned for this upcoming season.
Our dream for the past year has been to become beekeepers. A few months ago, we took a beekeeping class. The information that we learned about bees really made us want to take care of our own hives! Bees are incredible! For Valentine’s Day Mike surprised me with bees! They will be delivered next month, so for the remainder of March we are preparing ourselves for their arrival! We also applied for a beekeeping apprenticeship and will find out if we got accepted later this month.
This month we will be continuing our Lenten promises, making our Holy Week and Easter plans, planting a small garden, attending Peter’s little gym class, and working on setting up our ‘Bee Balm’ and candle shop! We pray you have a wonderful month of March!

- Build and paint our beehives.
- Create our Easter Sunday menu.
- Review and adjust our Family Rule of Life for Spring.
- Start the Divine Mercy Sunday Novena on Good Friday.
- Make this Asparagus Soup with Ricotta Crostini.
- Celebrate Saint Joseph’s Day.
- Restock our homemade cleaning supplies.
- Make a Spring wreath for our front door.
- Celebrate Mike’s birthday!
