June 2019 Family Goals

Summer is here! We are so excited! This Spring has been a little cold and dreary, and we are looking forward to the warmer days ahead!

It has been a busy month so far! We helped give a retreat, attended our friends’ ordinations into the priesthood, Mike went on a business trip, and we celebrated Father’s Day and our parish’s 150th anniversary! It’s been a beautiful (and non-stop) month!

Sadly, our honeybee hives were attacked (and demolished!) by a bear, just a couple of weeks after installing them. It is too late in the season to get new bees. We are saving for new supplies and hopefully we will be able to get more bees this coming year.

We are taking pictures for our friend’s wedding at the end of this month! I’ve taken photographs for friends, but it is our first time taking photographs for an event! It’s exciting to be able to do this together! We want to make it so special for the couple! If you are a photographer and have any tips for us, we would love to hear!

Talking about weddings… yesterday was our fourth wedding anniversary! Our wedding day was the best day of my life! We are excited to celebrate our fourth year of marriage and cannot wait for all the joy that is ahead for us!

June 2019 Family Goals

• Continue exercising regularly using BBG on the Sweat app.
• Dedicate 20 minutes each morning Monday through Friday for a pre-school lesson with Peter.
• Find and set up some outdoor summer activities for Peter to do.
• Find and contact a videographer to film our Kickstarter video for Moscati Scrubs.
• Make this Easy Summer Salad from Rachel Parcell’s blog, Pink Peonies.
• Celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary!
• Spring clean our closets and donate some clothes.
• Create a list of summer goals and revise our family Rule of Life for the season.
• Clean and set up our back patio area.
• Set up and launch Moscati Scrubs‘ Blog!
