The past few weeks have been wonderful for our family. We’ve been waking up much earlier each morning to work out. It’s a change I’ve been wanting to make for awhile and I’m really enjoying the extra hours I add to my day, and the little time I get with Mike each morning! It’s made all the difference! My energy has increased and I am more motivated to get things done! I hope we continue to stick to our new routine this month!
We really want to start eating better. The Sweat App that we use for our exercise routine, BBG, offers a meal plan and recipes that we want to start using. My goal this summer is to make and eat a salad each day for either lunch or dinner. Being part of a farm share means we get so many vegetables and we need to use everything up! I also found these five grain-based salads that I’d love to try!
This month we are working on a few house projects. We are going to paint, decorate, and organize Peter’s room. We made our first trip to Ikea as a family and purchased the Kallax shelf unit to store his toys. I found these baskets (on sale!) at Target that fit perfectly into each shelf! I can’t wait to start organizing! It’s fun to work on projects together and continue to make our house into a home, room by room!
I’m working on a few blog posts, both for Moscati Scrubs and for Blessed Is She that I cannot wait to share! I’ve been a regular blog contributer for Blessed Is She for almost a year now, and writing for them for a little over two! The community I have found through this beautiful ministry is a gift!
