I am so excited to announce my company, Moscati Scrubs! Over the past few months I have been creating an ethically made scrubs company for medical professionals.
I am combining my love for the medical field, ethical fashion, and Catholicism by creating an ethically made medical scrubs line under the patronage of Saint Giuseppe Moscati, an Italian doctor and miracle worker. Moscati said that “charity will transform the world,” and my ethically made scrubs – from fabric sourcing to the patient’s bedside, will help people do just that.
My goal is to create ethically made medical scrubs that are comfortable and practical. Comfort and practicality are key when working medical shifts, so my scrubs will be soft, breathable, and lightweight. When I worked the night shift as an oncology nurse, comfortable scrubs were essential!
I am fully committed to ethically made clothing and sustainability – it has been both challenging and rewarding as I ensure that ethical and sustainable products are being used at every level of the supply chain. Caring for the environment and doing my best to minimize waste and pollution is also very important. This is why I am creating medical scrubs that are ethically made so that the dignity of the human person is upheld, as well as sustainably sourced in order to protect the environment and minimize waste.
