It was such a powerful experience to (virtually!) attend Focus’ conference, SEEK21, with Mike this past weekend! FOCUS is a Catholic apostolate whose mission is to share the hope and joy of the Gospel. When Mike and I were dating I used to dream about strengthening our faith through attending Catholic conferences together like this one. This past weekend is a dream come true!
This is our first time attending a SEEK Conference! We wanted to attend for years and we hope that next year, like everyone, we can be there in person. Yet even with this virtual conference the feeling of unity with all of the participants and speakers across the country and the world was present! That is the power of Catholicism – it truly is universal! No matter what city we are in, when we invite the Holy Spirit to be with us, we are united in faith! That was so evident to us this weekend.
The speakers and talks changed our hearts and it’s been beautiful to talk about each one together. SEEK is a beautiful encounter with Christ. They just announced Salt Lake City as the location of SEEK22 and you can sign up for it HERE! Have you been to SEEK? Let us know in the comments below!
