Each week of Lent focuses on one of those themes while each weekday follows a beautiful rhythm. Each Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday we read passages from the Gospel and answer some heart pondering questions on Tuesday and Thursday. On Mondays and Wednesdays we read a story. Every Friday we read a powerful reflection about the week and on Saturday we read a Psalm.

Throughout the past three years I have loved seeing women share their experiences using the journal during Lent – from reflections on blogs to pictures on Instagram – it is both edifying and encouraging knowing that I am praying in communion with others, even if we are across the world.
