After watching ‘The True Cost‘ last July we are committed to only purchasing second-hand or ethically made and sustainable clothing. Since starting my own ethically made clothing company, Moscati Scrubs, I have a greater appreciation for the ethical and sustainable fashion industry! I am inspired by the incredible businesses, like June Isle Clothier, that put the dignity of the human person first.
I came across June Isle Clothier a few months ago on Instagram. June Isle Clothier is a company that creates ethically made and sustainable children’s and women’s clothing. Their fabric is ethically sourced, naturally dyed, and locally sewn by seamstresses in British Columbia. I love the elegant simplicity of their clothing!
I ordered their linen Laurel Wrap Dress in Charcoal. It is so soft and beautiful! The dress is well made and meant to last a lifetime – it can easily transition into a maternity dress and is nursing friendly! I also love their jumpsuits – especially this one!
One of my favorite things about this company is that they donate a portion of the profit of each purchase to a NPO that helps end human trafficking. Be sure to take a look at their clothes and help support the endeavors of this beautiful ethical company!
