When we moved into our new home, we wanted to make Peter’s room special for him. Since he was a baby, he’s loved outer space, the planets, and the moon. We found ColorayDecor’s Moonlight Removable Wallpaper a perfect fit for his room.
The wallpaper is beautiful! It is printed on self-adhesive material, which allows the panels to be applied and peeled multiple times. I love that the material is both stain and tear-resistant, two qualities that are great for a boy’s room!
The wallpaper arrived in multiple sheets. We first applied the panels vertically starting with a section of the wall that didn’t include windows. Working together (you need two people for this!), Mike slowly peeled the paper backing off, 5-10 inches at a time, while I smoothed the wallpaper using THIS tool we had ordered. A few times, we needed to reposition the wallpaper. Mike used a drywall knife to cut off the excess pieces around the windows, corners, and baseboards.
We are slowly adding more outer space themed items to his room, like this Moon Tapestry! We also found these wooden planet blocks. Peter loves his new “moon room” and we do too!
ColorayDecor also has beautiful vintage, floral, patterns, and kids removable wallpaper! Click here to visit their site!
