Just like every January 1st, I’ve learned to keep my plans and goals simple each new Liturgical Year. This year I’m using three different resources to help me enter into the new Liturgical Year.
I’ve been using Every Sacred Sunday Mass Journals since their Kickstarter release. They have transformed my Mass experience, offering Sunday and Solemnity Mass Readings, as well as a journal prompt to record verse reflections and intentions. It’s allowed me to prepare for Mass like nothing else has. This year’s covers are stunning! You can use code CLAIRE10 for a discount.
The Scripture classes I took from The Word of the Lord author Dr. John Bergsma were memorable and moving. I still have all of my notes saved from his classes and refer to them often. I was thrilled to see that he had compiled this book of Sunday Mass reading reflections, and I ordered Year A along with the reflections for Solemnities and Feasts.
Kendra Tierney is my go-to for everything Liturgical Living. I love how she incorporates creativity, simplicity, and fun into all of her ideas. Each of her Liturgical Living suggestions are family centered and I reference her Compendium, along with her Prayer Companion, weekly.
What are your plans for the new Liturgical Year? I would love to hear your ideas, suggestions, and resources! Please share in the comments!
