Exercising is a part of my weekly routine. For the past few years Mike and I have been using the High Intensity (formerly BBG) workout routines on the Sweat App. The workouts can be done at home with little to no equipment and are 28 minutes, three times a week. We really love the program. To motivate each other we both have to complete all of the workouts each week. If one of us doesn’t complete them all, then we both have to repeat the week. It’s helped us progress in the program and has pushed us to give ourselves, and one another, our best.
I firmly believe that you don’t need anything, or much, to exercise. I spent most of our marriage wearing Mike’s old t-shirts, shorts from high school, and old sneakers that went through a marathon and many nursing shifts while I worked out. So, if you get anything from this post, let it be inspiration to start working out now, with the things you already have on hand.
