Finding Philothea March 2019 Goals

We were really happy to turn the calendar page from February to March! February was a beautiful month, but we are so excited that March is finally here! We have some exciting things planned for this month ahead!

Peter and I go on a trip together and I can’t wait to soak up some warmth and sun with him! We are also looking forward to celebrating Mike’s thirtieth birthday on the 24th! And even though the days are still cold here, Spring is just a few weeks away. It’s one of our favorite seasons!

I always look forward to Lent. I’ve been praying with the ‘Magnificat’ devotional each morning and today’s reflection struck my heart. It said to make this Lent a time of both conversion and conversation with Our Lord. That is what I want to do this Lent – not only turn my heart to Him, but also to converse with Him and build a relationship with Him. I love knowing that I will be praying alongside other women this year as I use the ‘To The End’ Blessed Is She Lenten devotional. These devotionals and the Blessed Is She community are a continual source of strength and encouragement in my life!

What are your plans for this month of March? What are you looking forward to? Are you ready and excited for Lent? We would love to hear!

March 2019 Family Goals

  • Be faithful to our Lenten promises.
  • Celebrate Mike’s birthday!
  • Attend a honeybee class and learn how to properly open our hives this Spring.
  • Celebrate Saint Joseph’s Day on the 19th! Here is a fun list of recipes to make in honor of his Feast Day. I want to make the Phyllo Pastry With Fresh Figs and Ricotta!
  • Be on time! We’ve been late (especially to Mass) for the past few months and really need to change this!
  • Spring clean our closets and donate some of Peter’s toys.
  • Continue working towards the launch of Moscati Scrubs!
  • Make a list of projects to do this Spring with Peter. I really like this little craft I found on Pinterest!
  • Workout earlier in the morning. We are still using the BBG exercises on the Sweat app, and loving the results. But I’ve been putting the workout off until later in the morning. My goal is to do it first thing!
