February 2019 Family Goals

February is one of my favorite months of the year! We are only a few days into it, and already it’s been so beautiful for us! Mike sang during Mass and Adoration at our new parish on Saturday, the Feast of the Presentation. We also finished a few projects in our home that have been on our to-do list for quite some time! And one of my favorite parts of February so far has been the warm weather this weekend! Peter and I went for a walk this afternoon and are going to the park tomorrow to soak up as much time outside as we can!

February 2019 Family Goals

• Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Mike and Peter! I am going to make these Love Letter Cookies for them!
• Get settled into my new weekly routine with Peter. We signed him up for a few activities that begin this month and it’s led us to develop a new daily routine! So far so good!
• Make our consecration to Merciful Love. This is our second time making it and it is so powerful! If you haven’t read ‘33 Days to Merciful Love‘, please do!
• Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11th!
• Decide on a location and plan our trip for this Spring! We have no idea where we are going, so if you have any recommendations, we would love to hear!
• Find a pull out couch for our side room! We are turning our sun room into a guest bedroom and have been on the hunt for a pull out couch. Today we finished painting it and it looks beautiful! We can’t wait to host people here!
• Go to Adoration once a week. We just discovered that we have a perpetual Adoration chapel fifteen minutes from our home!
• Make and deliver meals to some friends who just had babies!
• Plan what we are going to focus on this Lent. I will be using the ‘Blessed Is She’ Devotional and I am thinking about giving up coffee!
• Celebrate my birthday at our favorite restaurant! I love new beginnings and fresh starts and cannot wait to see what this year brings!
