Mom’s Stuffing

I’ve been trying to get my mom’s stuffing recipe for YEARS! It’s my favorite thing on the Thanksgiving plate and she says she makes it different every time but I finally got her to write it down for me! Here it is:
One stick of melted butter, one large onion, 3-5 celery stalks, one large bag of cubed stuffing bread, four chicken bouillon cubes, two cups of water, poultry seasoning to taste and pepper. Cook onions and celery in butter, add seasonings and bouillon, add stuffing bread cubes- mix, then add water. If put into turkey or chicken- juices will moisten and you can add drippings for taste.

Gravy

We are using the recipe found at the bottom of the Brined and Roasted Turkey recipe above!

Rolls

These rolls from Handle the Head look incredible! I can’t wait to make (and eat!) them.

Cider Caramel Apple Pie à la Mode

When Mike and I were engaged, we made this recipe together for a crowd. It was the first time baking a dessert for other people together and we put our heart into it and we were holding our breath when everyone took the first bite! I think we shocked ourselves with how incredible it was! Making this because it’s delicious, and brings back such a fun memory.

French 77

My go-to drink, with such an interesting history! Here’s the recipe we use.

What’s on your menu this year? Let us know! We hope you have a beautiful Thanksgiving!
