Discover etiquette tips, literary treasures, and lifestyle inspiration on the blog!

Now, as a wife, mother, and etiquette instructor, I apply etiquette to my daily life, as I strive to nurture and care for my family with kindness, love, and charity. Sharing my journey with this community, illuminated by the light of Christ, brings me joy. I am delighted to have you here with me as we seek beauty and embrace virtue together.

With a background in history and theology, I discovered that the foundation of etiquette lies in valuing the dignity of every person. My former nursing career working with bone marrow transplant patients further affirmed the transformative power of caring for one’s dignity with compassion.

Finding Philothea: Finding the one who loves God

My goal with Finding Philothea is to share with you the joy, beauty, and mercy found in a life lived in and for Christ.

Together, we will:
  • Strive to grow in faith, virtue, confidence, and grace.
  • Seek Christ in the present moment within our unique vocations.
  • Serve others with a heart of joy.
  • Find the one who loves God, our true self.

At Finding Philothea, I share with you the ways I have found my “true self” in Christ by imparting my insight and inspiration from the Catholic faith and heritage. Explored through etiquette tips and practices that reveal our own intrinsic value and the value of others, you will discover thoughtful literature as well as the philosophy and theology of personalism. My goal is to reveal the beauty that surrounds us, and from our truest hearts, find Beauty Himself.

Through everything I share and create, Finding Philothea has transformed into a community encompassing a Blog, Shop, 1:1 Mentorship, and soon-to-be-launched Etiquette Courses.

I love learning about etiquette! Practicing etiquette allows us to have the freedom to gift others with our presence and to be fully present to each person we encounter, and every situation we are in.

Exercise is very important to me! I consistently incorporate it into my weekly routine. I ran two marathons — one in Buffalo, NY, and the other in Venice, Italy, yet one of my favorite forms of exercise is hiking with my family.

I grew up attending the symphony each season, and now I love going with my husband and son. The works of Beethoven, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky are our favorites.
