Insights on Literature, etiquette, and Beauty from a Catholic wife and mom

I am thrilled to write a review on WILDBIRD and their ring slings. As International Babywearing Week comes to a close and WILDBIRD’s new Fall and Winter Line is released, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share a product that is so close to my heart! Mike and I have worn Peter with our WILDBIRD ring slings since he was born, and it is one of our greatest joys!

There are incredible benefits of wearing your baby. Babywearing allows your child to thrive and flourish through touch and interaction. Not only will your baby thrive through babywearing, but you will, too! Because your baby is so close and you can feel their every move, you become increasingly attuned to your child’s cues, desires, and needs. One of the most remarkable benefits of babywearing is that it naturally improves your baby’s health. When a mother wears her baby, the stimulation her baby receives from her heartbeat, movements, and breathing helps regulate her baby’s own physical responses.

Even before his birth, Mike and I knew we wanted to wear Peter. We researched the different types of carriers on the market and came across WILDBIRD, a company that sells ring slings. We love the ease of ring slings. Out of all carriers we have used, ring slings are the most effortless. While there is a learning curve for all carriers, we became proficient after wearing Peter a few times. WILDBIRD’s beautiful website offers tutorials on how to utilize ring slings, which aided us greatly when we first starting wearing Peter.

We know the importance of supporting small businesses, especially businesses that are led by morally upright, inspiring people. WILDBIRD was established two years ago by a mother who was a registered nurse who couldn’t bear the thought of being away from her son after he was born. She was unsatisfied with the expensive baby carriers on the market and decided to create one that matched her needs. Through creating WILDBIRD, she is now able to stay home full time with her son! I felt immediately connected to this company because I too am a registered nurse, who decided to be a stay-at-home mother after Peter’s birth. I love knowing that we are supporting this family in a small way each time we purchase their product!
